On April 24, Tianjin Pharmaceutical Group Co., Ltd. issued an announcement stating that its subsidiary, Tianjin Pharmaceutical Peace Co., Ltd., received the Drug Registration Certificate for Sodium Hydrocortisone Succinate for Injection issued by the National Medical Products Administration.

It is understood that this drug is used to rescue critically ill patients with allergic diseases such as toxic infection, anaphylactic shock, severe adrenocortical insufficiency, connective tissue disease, and severe bronchial asthma, and can also be used to prevent and treat acute graft rejection.

Driven by factors such as pharmaceutical companies placing greater emphasis on a stable supply of active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs), the integrated development of APIs and formulations has become an inevitable trend in the chemical pharmaceutical industry. Tianjin Pharmaceutical Group recognized this trend early on, starting with its acquisition of a controlling stake in Jinyao Pharmaceutical (now renamed Tianjin Pharmaceutical Heping) in 2017, marking the beginning of its "API + formulation" full-industry chain layout. In 2020, it further strengthened its position in the formulation sector by acquiring a 51% stake in Hubei Tianyao (now renamed Hubei Tianjin Pharmaceutical).

This successful evaluation further enhances Tianjin Pharmaceutical Group's portfolio of pharmaceutical preparations, which will have a positive impact on the company's ability to fully leverage its integrated raw material and formulation advantages, expand its domestic formulation market, and improve its performance.
