On August 27, Tianjin Pharmaceutical Group Co., Ltd. issued an announcement stating that its subsidiary, Tianjin Pharmaceutical Peace Co., Ltd., received the "Drug Registration Certificate" for difluprednisolone eye drops issued by the National Medical Products Administration. This drug is the first generic version in China.

This drug is primarily used to treat inflammation and pain associated with eye surgery and is the company's first steroidal hormone eye drops. This approval is significant in breaking the monopoly of imported drugs in the market and reducing clinical drug costs. It also enriches the company's formulation product portfolio and will have a positive impact on the company's ability to fully leverage its integrated API and formulation advantages, expand its domestic formulation market, and improve its performance.
