Formoterol fumarate is a β2-receptor agonist with bronchodilator effects, relieving bronchospasm, and anti-allergic properties. Currently, it is available in various formulations, including tablets, inhaled solutions, and inhaled powders. Formoterol fumarate inhalation solution is available both domestically and internationally and is suitable for maintenance treatment of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), primarily for chronic bronchitis and emphysema.

This approval indicates that the active pharmaceutical ingredient meets the relevant requirements for national drug registration and can be sold in the domestic market.
